Bell pepper is known as one of the best natural products which bring many benefits for our health. It’s rich in vitamins and fiber, and the taste is great too. Therefore, people around the world choose bell peppers to cook and eat regularly, so do I. I love eating bell peppers, especially stuffed peppers.

Stuffed peppers are a great dish. You can freely stuff any ingredient you want with bell peppers such as rice, meat, seafood, … And, because stuffed peppers have different ingredients inside, it may hard for you to choose what to serve with stuffed peppers.​

​If you cook the peppers with heavy ingredients such as rice, meat … you can enjoy them with light side dishes. On the contrary, you should choose some heavy side dished if you stuff the peppers with light ingredients. That’s how to balance the meal.

​You may also want to prepare easy dishes to serve with stuffed peppers. Consequently, here are some of the super simple dishes that I think anyone could make it immediately. Let’s take a look!

#1. Salad

I think this is a great dish that matches with any others. It’s fresh and light. You can make a salad with cucumber, carrot, lettuce, … or any vegetable you want. Fruit salad is also a good choice that can add more flavor to your meal.

Moreover, salad is a healthy food that keeps intact all the beneficial nutrients. It contains many vitamins from different kinds of vegetables. For that reason, you should serve stuffed peppers with salad, especially with meat stuffed peppers so that you can eat them as much as you want without being cloyed.

#2. Potatoes

If you have light stuffed peppers, I recommend you to serve it with potatoes. There are thousands of recipes to cook potatoes. You can fry, bake or mash them. For me, I love mashed potatoes and I usually mash them with butter, since they taste rich.

You can also easily cook potatoes into chips. Enjoy the chips with sauce is beyond amazing. Salsa, Hummus or Guacamole is one of the most popular sauces. If you have children, they will definitely love it.

Bread is a perfect side dish to serve with stuffed peppers. It’s a combination of soft and crunch that can balance all meals. Bread is also easy to find at any food store or supermarket. In all the kinds of bread, garlic bread is a great choice to serve with. The flavor of garlic will absolutely match with the spice of bell peppers. It will taste more fabulous if you dip the bread in stuffed peppers’ sauce.
